The spiritual centre of Itkhori — an ancient shrine of the fierce and protective Mother Goddess.
Maa Bhadrakali Temple is the spiritual heart of Itkhori — a Sidh Peeth said to have been empowered by Megha Muni. The shrine sits where the Muhane and Baksha rivers meet, drawing pilgrims year-round to Bhadrakali, a powerful form of the Divine Mother. The campus is far larger than a single sanctum: within its walls you will find Sahastra Shivling, Shani and Panchmukhi Hanuman shrines, the Bodh (Manoti) Stup with 1,008 Buddha images, Jain footprints of Bhagwan Sheetalnath, and an ASI museum of 9th–10th century art. Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain histories intertwine here — a rare confluence that defines Itkhori's identity.
